ㅇMinistry of Trade, Industry and Energy
announced that the 5th round of negotiations of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA)
on services and investment will be held via video conferencing over 4 days
(30th, 2nd, 3rd, 6th) from June 30 to July 6.
ㅇIt has been difficult to move between the two
countries this year, due to the spread of Covid-19, but negotiations continued
over video conferences.
ㅇIn the upcoming 5th round of negotiations, the
government plans to seek consensus on agreements for each division including
service, investment, and general rules, particularly regarding major
provisions.
