Deputy Prime Minister Nam-Ki Hong "This year will be the first year to achieve results of the New Northern Policy”
The
government has decided to implement the “New Northern Policy” this year, in
addition to the “New Southern Policy” that it had focused on last year. Deputy
Prime Minister Hong explained, “we will strengthen economic cooperation with
the northern countries and bring tangible results of the cooperation project so
that this year becomes the first year to create results of the New Northern Policy”.
